Luscious - Virtual Equality

Staples VR teamed up with the amazing team at Luscious, a Sydney Australia based production company to produce a Virtual Equality campaign to push Vote Yes in Aussie.

​

We captured a same sex wedding in Virtual Reality 360 Video in Auckland New Zealand, a country where same sex marriage is legal. 

​

The wedding was then viewable in a Samsung Gear VR headset on the shores of Darling Harbour, Sydney. Where an activation was set up for Australians to place on a head set and view the wedding as if they themselves were attending.

​

This created drive and awareness of the "Vote Yes" movement as Australia was in the process of a paper vote on marriage equality.

​

The project went on to win a silver at the 2018 Cannes international festival of creativity!
